Hello everyone. I'm Astrologer Glenn Arthur Kaufmann with the Shasta Skies Astrology forecast for September 7th through September 21st 2007.

Pluto turns directs on Friday the 7th, and Venus turns direct on Saturday the 8th, with the Moon in Leo this second weekend in September. Promises are best kept now, be they pillow talk or corporate contracts. Chivalry is not dead and everyone will get a chance to save the day. Will you be ready to seize the moment? Watch and be ready to act.

The workweek on Monday the 10th, starts on a balsamic moon, one night prior, to a partial Solar eclipse, new moon in Virgo, on Tuesday the 11th. By the way, unlike our recent total lunar eclipse last month, this eclipse is not visible anywhere in the US.

There is a groggy feeling to the beginning of this second workweek in September, and a laid back feeling that doesn’t dissipate until Thursday the 13th , and even then, there is a “lais-sez-faire” attitude right on through the third weekend of September. Live, and let live.

Take advantage of these easy going days to gather up your energy, you’ll need it come the 17th through the 22nd of September. With the moon in Scorpio from Friday afternoon the 14th through Sunday afternoon the 16th, plan on company.

Scorpio moon cycles are best spent with a companion.

The workweek on the 17th , starts with some Monday morning emergencies, as the Sun squares Mars. Put off what you can, until Tuesday the 18th when we see some easy going Moon and Mercury aspects. This may be easier said than done though, for the overriding aspect for this third workweek of September is a Mars Pluto opposition exact on Friday the 21st. The week can be one of tremendous efforts and accomplishments, just be wary of this aspects tendency toward ruthlessness and power struggles. The Sun squares this Mars Pluto opposition throughout this work week, giving us strong needs to assert ourselves, often at the expense of others around us. Not a time to stir up someone’s anger or walk down dark alleys by yourself. It is a great time to break through opposition and resistance and sprint for that finish line. And it is best done with the aid of others, not as an individual effort. Wednesday morning the 19th and Thursday evening the 20th are trickiest times. Be ready to act , not react.

That Mars Pluto opposition, along with a Venus Neptune opposition at the same time, can bring some dangerous liaisons this second to last weekend in September.

If you have any doubts whatsoever about the morality, or legality, of a person or activity now, back off. Rumors abound and even the appearance of impropriety at this time, can have long term repercussions. Follow your head now, not your heart, and especially not anything any lower.

Something else I want to point out here. When a planet goes retrograde, it is seen to pass back and forth over a specific spot in the Zodiac. With our recent Venus retrograde period, Venus moved forward to 4 degrees of Virgo, then back to 16 degrees of Leo, and now in forward motion again it will traverse this area a third time by the middle of October. In the process, this time Venus also makes an opposition to Neptune three times, because Neptune is currently in Aquarius, the sign opposite Leo. Look all the way back to the end of June, when the first opposition took place, and look at what you have rededicated yourself to. What have you had to admit to yourself is truly important to you now? Who is important to you? What have you done to reaffirm the Venus principle in your life, your ability to love and attract love? Fortunately it doesn’t end here in September you still have until the 13th of October, when Venus gets back to 4 degrees of Virgo, to do so.

The coming Mars retrograde cycle this fall coincidentally opposes Pluto three times, so pay real close attention to what gets triggered during this first opposition. More on this in the next Shasta Skies Astrology forecast on September 21st.

I'm Astrologer Glenn Arthur Kaufmann. Bye for now…

Hello everyone. I'm Astrologer Glenn Arthur Kaufmann and this is the Shasta Skies Astrology forecast for September 21st through October 5th, 2007

We start our second to last weekend in September, with an explosive Mars, Pluto opposition on Friday the 21st. The first of three such oppositions we'll see through March 2008... due to a Mars retrograde period that starts this November. Watch what you do now, and who you associate with,

for what gets stirred up now, will not get finished until the third Mars, Pluto opposition in early May. That’s a long time to have to lock horns with someone. so, better to approach your current battles with reinforcements. Don't take them on all alone at this time. The key to this volatile aspect, is gathering others that will help you and agree with your struggles.

Sunday morning the 23rd of September, is the Vernal, or Autumn Equinox, when the Sun enters the sign of Libra, exact at two fifty two A M. The first day of fall. The chart for the exact moment of the Equinox, shows Leo rising and a Moon, Neptune conjunction in Aquarius, in the seventh house. This should give us some very strange activities these next 13 weeks of Fall. Lots of preaching and prancing from our public figures, and pie in the sky proposals. Unfortunately, there will be very little factual or financial reality to these promises and provocations.

The final work week of September, brings lots of new ideas and solutions to the work place, as we see Mercury sextile Pluto, Monday morning the 24th ,

and Mercury trine Mars, Wednesday morning, the 26th. Solve those puzzling issues now. Put your heads together and walllahhh. Brilliance in action. Especially with Wednesdays Harvest Moon, the full Moon in Aries. Shed a little light on the subject and it all becomes clear now…

On Thursday, the 27th of September, Mercury moves into Scorpio, and on Friday, the 28th , Mars enters Cancer. Two planets moving from air signs to water signs. You watch how fast everyone’s focus is going to change. The brilliance of the beginning of the week, melts into a desire, and need, to be with family and loved one. The focus shifts toward filling the pantries and securing the home front.

A realization that winter is coming seems to be heavy on everyone here. Excellent time this last weekend of September to do all those domestic fix it projects, and hunting and gathering chores. Oh …and don’t pass up the opportunity to pass on some of that wisdom of yours to the young-uns. Some great teaching moments herein.

The first work week of October starts off on an upbeat note, with the Moon in Gemini opposite Jupiter, at 7:22 AM. GOOD MORNING MOUNT SHASTA!!!! The early birds are at it again and the results are present throughout the rest of the day.

By mid morning on Tuesday, the 2nd , we get a little short tempered as the Moon, now in Cancer, conjuncts Mars, during the lunch hour. A little touchy are we here???? Defensive, to say the least. Keep your opinions to yourself Tuesday, and save yourself some aggravation. By Tuesday evening, everything smoothes over, and we want someone around to help make it all better, as we begin to pick up on Wednesday morning's Venus Pluto trine. Plan a little extra quiet time with the one you love Wednesday morning, you'll be glad you did. Thursday, the 4th of October is a very low key day, until the Moon changes to Leo at 3:30 PM. From then on, until the Moon Venus conjunction Saturday night, the 6th, the excitement builds, and the fun keeps on coming.

The first weekend of October looks like a pleasurable one. And don't think you can sleep in on Sunday the 7th . A Moon Saturn conjunction, is going to kick your butt out of bed early.

Mercury, the planet that rules communication, transportation and the flow of commerce , is getting ready to go retrograde come the 11th of October,

so if the car is needing some love and attention, or the computer needs some maintainance do it now…before Mercury goes retrograde, the mechanics and the techies are going to get real busy mid October, and it could take more time and money if you wait. More on our next Mercury retrograde cycle, in the next Shasta Skies Astrology forecast on October 5th.

I'm Astrologer Glenn Arthur Kaufmann. Bye for now…

Hello, I'm Glenn Arthur Kaufmann and this is the Shasta Skies Astrology Transit Forecast for October 5th through October 19th 2007.

First off, we need to start thinking mercury retrograde here because starting Thursday, October 11th , Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio, until November 1st. You still have this first weekend in October to prepare and minimize any inconveniences. Car and computer maintenance and unresolved communications , especially of a romantic nature, are best tackled now. Once Mercury is retrograde, these all take more time… and usually more money to address. Oh, and plumbing, refrigeration and H-VAC issues too, with the retrograde in Scorpio a hidden water sign and Libra the sign of homeostasis. I always councel clients to cut back on their schedules during Mercury retrograde cycles. Take your normal agenda for a typical day and slash about thirty per cent off of it. Then you'll have the time to deal with those niggly retrograde delays without stressing out too much.

I also want to remind you that we are coming to the end of this years Venus retrograde cycle, and if you haven't figured out by now what your new priorities and love interests should be … if you haven't rededicated yourself to those things and people you love by now… get it together, ‘cause after the 13th of October you might find yourself missing out on some truly beautiful opportunities.

Saturn is now firmly entrenched in Virgo , with Venus joining suit on October 7th. A sub-theme for this first half of October (and until July of 2010) is that of practicality and accountability. Keep your promises now and keep your eye on those bottom lines. Purchases now have to be warranted. Projects started now, need to emphasize efficiency. Our actions now, will go a long way toward defining our reputations. Make sure they are ones you want to be remembered for.

Columbus Day, the 8th of October, is a fantastic day for getting work done, with a Moon in Virgo and a Mars, Saturn, and Sun, Jupiter, sextile. Same goes for Tuesday, October 9th , when the Moon enters Libra and Jupiter squares Uranus.

The New Moon in Libra on Wednesday , October 10th and Mercury's retrograde station on Thursday the 11th, make the middle of the second workweek of October rather low key and lackadaisical… almost dreamy…, especially by Friday the 12th ,with the Moon in Scorpio and a Sun Neptune trine. Normally I would give this third weekend a positive sign for romance, although I expect Saturdays, Venus, Saturn conjunction in Virgo is going to quell our passions real quick when we realize what we could be getting in to. Be ready to back up your actions with long term commitments.

Our third week of October starts off with high hopes and inspiration as we see the Moon in Sagittarius, conjunct Jupiter, on Monday, the 15th of October. Now true, Mercury is retrograde all this time, so our emphasis should be on finishing up projects from the summer, yet much progress and implementation are made this third workweek of October. All the Mercury, Venus and Mars transits for the rest of this week are nice easy going ones, adding to a most enjoyable week.

One word of caution. The Moon on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 16th and 17th of October ,does trigger that Mars, Pluto opposition we first saw back on September 21st , so you can bet some recurring issues rear their ugly head. Just remember that these Mars, Pluto issues of self assertion and moral challenges will be with us until long into the Spring of 08‘.

Oh and get ready for Halloween this year. With Neptune turning direct on Halloween, the 31st , and Mercury turning direct, All Saint’s Day, the 1st of November, this is going to be one surreal holiday. Truly the veils will be thin at this time. More on this in the next Shasta Skies Astrology Transit report coming October 19th.
I'm Glenn Arthur Kaufmann. Bye For Now….

Hello, I'm Glenn Arthur Kaufmann and this is the Shasta Skies Astrology Transit Forecast for October 19th to November 2nd 2007.

So…how is everyone doing now that Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio???? Any foot in mouth issues yet?? Slip of the tongues?? Say the wrong thing to the right person ??? I bet you, florists are going to be doing a brisk business now, the “I’m sorry” and “I love you” cards flying out the door as fast as they can make em.

If you want to put a positive spin on this time period, why not PLAN to reveal something about yourself to your loved ones. Let them in on a good secret or two now and you could really get some kudos…oh and poetry works wonders now too.

This particular Mercury retrograde cycle has Mercury moving backward through the early part of Scorpio and continuing back into Libra then returning to direct motion on November 1st only to move through the latter part of Libra back into Scorpio again. This is a tricky area of the Zodiac for Mercury. We want to say the right thing, we want to comfort our mates and friends, yet all too often here it would be best if we limit our revelations and confessions to as few as possible. Once we let the cat out of the bag there is no going back.

And speaking of cats…are you all ready for Halloween this year??? It is truly going to be a doozie… with Neptune stationing direct on Halloween Day and Mercury stationing direct the next day on All Saint’s Day…both in Air signs.. We’re talking major visions and visitations here. Truly the veils between the living and the departed are thin here. Much information can be gathered from our ancestors and departed loved ones now. More than the normal level of ghostly and spooky happenings too.

Remember Halloween takes place when the Sun is in Scorpio for a reason. Scorpio is all about death and regeneration, lifting the veils of the unknown, peering into those dark and shadowy places of life, dying to one level of life and being reborn… like the caterpillar becoming the butterfly. This year we don’t just think about this stuff, we actually get to go down the rabbit hole….

We start our third weekend of October with the Moon changing from Aquarius to Pisces, a decent placement for socializing. Volunteer your time and energy toward your friends and associates here. Beautification projects get a lot of attention now.

Monday, the 22nd of October sees our work week starting with some very unsettling issues. The Moon is in Pisces and both the Sun and Mercury are changing signs. Not the most clear headed actions here. Now Tuesdays Sun Mercury Inferior conjunction on the 23rd, gives us a chance to make sense out of a lot of issues that have been bothering us, especially since Mercury went retrograde on the 11th. Take plenty of time for contemplation and processing information Tuesday evening. It’s a great time to solidify a plan of action and see where we have to go these next few weeks.

The 24th and 25th of October are the get-things- accomplished days of this fourth workweek of October, as we see the Moon in Aries and the October Full Moon in Taurus. Be a little selfish here. Pamper yourself… and your mate if you so choose. The rewards are great on many levels.

The last weekend of October is not much to talk about but a Moon in Gemini most of the weekend will have us talking just the same. Keep it light and spontaneous here.

The last few work days of October are best spent working at home if you can swing it. A Moon in Cancer and Jupiter, Neptune trine, leave us longing for the comforts of home.

November brings us the end of Daylight Savings time and the beginning of Mars retrograde. More on this in the next Shasta Skies Astrology report on November 2nd.
I'm Glenn Arthur Kaufmann. Bye for now…

Hello, I'm Glenn Arthur Kaufmann and this is the Shasta Skies Astrology Transit Forecast for November 2nd to November 16th 2007.

O.K. everyone, Mercury is now direct, as of November 1st, so, our attention begins to shift toward future projects and forward looking agendas, especially those that will culminate mid December when Mercury reaches a superior conjuction with the Sun, December 17th. The info that you have compiled during the three weeks of Mercury retrograde in October, can now be compiled and acted upon to bring results. Kick it into high gear now and advance those ideas and agendas. Teamwork is suggested here, especially these first few weeks of November with the Sun in Scorpio, and Saturn and Venus in Virgo. Make sure you point out practical applications of your project and ideas and show how others in your community can benefit from your plans. This will gain you much needed support.

I can not stress enough here the importance of gathering a group of individuals in support of your endeavors these next few months…those who are passionate about the things you are trying to change. Mars is turning retrograde this month, and will stay retrograde in Cancer (and late Gemini) until early May next year, all the while making three oppositions to Pluto. It is all too easy under these type of transits, to come off as offensive and arrogant now, so it is best to advance your agenda as a group or family unit, thereby diffusing any personal attacks or disdain. You will also benefit here from a subconscious need for everyone to feel save and secure. A group dynamic, if you will.

In the U.S. chart, this Mars retrograde backs over natal Jupiter and Venus in the 7th house, our trade mark aspect of foreign aid and largess. There are likely to be shortages of food stuff, heating supplies and commodities due to extreme weather conditions and possibly a psychological attack on the safety of our water and food supplies. Overseas we can expect to see an escalation of foreign aid to physically ravaged areas, especially in the African sub-continent. Take a little extra time and money this November to stock those pantries and replenish emergency supplies. And take some extra time for your family. Let them know you care for them and will be there for them when needed.

As we start our first weekend of November we see the Moon in Virgo, conjunct Saturn, with a Sun, Mars trine. Excellent weekend for fix-er-up-er projects and physical maintenance. Great time for a family bike ride or group activity.

A void of course Moon conjunct Venus in Virgo square Pluto on Monday the 5th of November, makes for feelings of inadequacy and unmet needs. Not the best way to start the week. Watch those cravings and obsessive actions. Keep to your own counsel Monday and wait until Wednesday the 7th to bring up any really emotional issues. It is likely they will work themselves out the later half of the week as we see a Sun, Uranus trine and Moon, Mercury conjunction on Wednesday, the 7th, and a Mercury Pluto sextile on Thursday the 8th. The New Moon in Scorpio on Friday the 9th of November gives us an intimate, low-key start to the second weekend of November. Add in Sunday’s Sun, Neptune square and Mercury changing signs, and we have the makings of many things best left unsaid. Silence is golden here. Unless you want to get yourself into hot water.

A Moon, Jupiter conjunction in Sagittarius on Monday the 12th is the day to speak up and address your concerns. Conversations here are more upbeat and devoid of the weekends emotional undertones.

The latter half of the third workweek in November sees many folks starting to chomp at the bit as Mars begins it’s retrograde station, especially with the Moon in Aquarius at weeks end. Patience folks. Count to ten here. This Mars retrograde is here for quite a while. More on this in the next Shasta Skies Astrology report on November 16th.
I’m Glenn Arthur Kaufmann. Bye for now…

Hello, I'm Glenn Arthur Kaufmann and this is the Shasta Skies Astrology Transit Forecast for November 16th to November 30th 2007.

The main thing I want to talk to you about this forecast is our current Mars retrograde cycle, in this case retrograde until January 30th 2008. 1st off…, a retrograde cycle does NOT weaken the power of the retrograde planet, it only internalizes it. I have actually observed the opposite…an INCREASE the effects of the retrograde planet. Even astronomically we see an increase, for in order for any planet to be seen as retrograde, from our position on Earth, the retrograde planet must be in close proximity to the Earth in their respective revolutions around the Sun.

So, Mars is now retrograde in early Cancer and late Gemini, until the end of January. We’re talking intense family dynamics here. On the positive side, inner strength and determination to address and work through emotional issues, and a need to secure harmony in the household. On the negative side, more aggression, squabbles and domestic abuse incidents as many who can not handle the intensity of Mars lash out at their family and friends. Some astrologers see Mars retrograde in Cancer as a sort of “fated” set of circumstances, although I see fate as more consequence of our emotional reactions and subconscious habits, things that can be changes when one is aware of them. Which is what a retrograde is all about. INTROSPECTION. Personal examination, and in the case of Mars, eradication and cauterization of unnecessary and outmoded habits, fears and behavior patterns. Please give your loved ones the benefit of the doubt now, give them gentle pursuasion not ultimatums… and especially give them (and yourself) time to change. Remember… Mars is retrograde for two and a half months.

Our third weekend in November begins with the Moon in Aquarius and Mercury sextile Saturn on Friday afternoon the 16th. Good time to stay late at the office and tie up the loose ends from the workweek. Saturday, the 17th, and Sunday, the 18th, we see the Moon in Aquarius and Pisces, respectively, with a series of decent aspect to the other planets. Nice, easy going, social and pleasurable events here. Just remember to dissipate that new Mars retrograde energy.

A Moon in Pisces on Monday the 19th, and some tricky Mars aspects gives another emotional start to the workweek. Work alone and you can get a lot accomplished here. A Moon in Aries on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 20th and 21st, with Mercury trine Uranus, allows us the ability to approach the normally unapproachable people in our lives and ask for their advice, maybe even their assistance. You might even get away with asking them to join you for Thanksgiving, although I must say the Moon in Taurus on Thanksgiving Day warrants plenty of EXTRA food and extra place settings. Everyone is going to want to play with their food before they eat it here and many will end up wearing it too.

Friday the 23rd sees a void of course Moon in Taurus after 11 AM, so get your shopping done early and quit by eleven. Afternoon purchases just won’t have the appeal once you get them home.

The full Moon in Gemini this Thanksgiving weekend gives us way too much on our plates. Don’t forget to take it nice and slow remember, Mars retrograde.

Our final workweek of November, starts off with many missing in action or slow to start as we see the Moon in Cancer and Venus trine Neptune. A Moon, Mars conjunction Monday night the 26th should get everyone back in the saddle though. The rest of this last workweek in November sees a Moon in Leo on Wednesday and Thursday and a Sun, Saturn Square Friday the 30th . Plan most of your work for mid week now cause Friday the 30th is going to be hectic. More in the next Shasta Skies Astrology report on November 30th.
I’m Glenn Arthur Kaufmann. Bye for now…

Hello, I'm Glenn Arthur Kaufmann and this is the Shasta Skies Astrology Transit Forecast for December 1st - December 15th, 2007.

O.K. Mars is retrograde in Cancer. Therapists and counselors, sheriffs and bailiffs, moderators, mediators, attorneys, especially divorce attorneys, … they are all doing a brisk business now. Add in the Jupiter, Pluto conjunction in Sagittarius on December 11th and we can add undertakers, preachers, Civil rights leaders, political hacks, daring duos, and modern day crusaders too. Justice is swerved now.. not served. Fanaticism reaches a critical peak with many religious figures and religious ideals on the chopping block. Truth suffers the consequences of fanatical minds here. Past Jupiter Pluto conjunctions of the 20th century occurred during some rather intense times, including World War One, World War Two AND the Vietnam War. Not to mention the immortalized assassinations of the 1968 conjunction. We get papal edicts and Supreme court surprises. Justice and Jihad become strange bedfellows. God seems to be on everyone’s side.

Folks, Don’t believe much of what you hear now. Discretion is the better part of valor. We have an opportunity to expose corruption. Motives and agendas are brought to light. People are craving power and weaving some of the most amazing tales to justify their means. We as individuals with morals and a conscience, have to stand up now for our culture and say enough is enough. No more inconsistencies and lies, whether they are presidential or residential in nature. Now is the time to stand tall and speak up for truth with fervor and inspiration. . Meet out one’s just reward. The Piper wants to be paid. Stick to your guns now, uh, figuratively… not literally. Remember you are the one that has to respect yourself in the morning. Speak out this month and the ramifications can ripple for at least 13 years. Oh, and everyone wants to get on their soapbox now…can you tell?

Mercury joins the Sun in Sagittarius on December 1st with Venus sextiling Jupiter and Pluto the first few days of December. Excellent week for planning the coming year and setting goals and bouncing around new ideas. Wednesday the 5th of December we see the Moon conjoin Venus on the Libra Scorpio cusp. Viva la difference as the French say. Hormones are working overtime here and romantic gifts blossom big time. I bet you the e-harmony site crashes now.

A mercury Saturn square on Thursday December 6th has us obsessing over details. Friday the 7th a void of course moon in Scorpio and Sun Uranus Square tells me to leave the office early and leave well enough alone. We can do more damage than good here. So no big changes or plans now. Oh and don’t leave loose ends until weeks end. They’ll be a real hassle come Friday the 7th.

Our second workweek of December begins with the new Moon in Sagittarius triggering that Jupiter Pluto conjunction. All bets are off here folks. The headlines are going to be amazing. Faith is key here. Ignorance of the law no excuse. Educate yourself this second week of December especially while the moon is in Aquarius on Thursday and Friday the 13th and 14th. Don’t let anyone pull the wool over your eyes now.
